The CFD-5 Holster has been the leading holster for both advanced and beginner Cowboy Fast Draw Competitors since 2006. The holster is a standard Mernickle 3-Ply construction, with a rawhide layer between the two outer layers of high-quality leather.  The inner rawhide hardens allowing the leather holster to keep it’s factory form for years to come.  There is also a “Safeleg Deflector” on the toe of the holster, which guards against an injury from a wax bullet should a “boot-shot” occur.  This “Low-Ride” Drop-Mexican Loop holster has a leather string leg tie-down.
